What it does
You paste a prompt that works for you, plus one or two examples of when you'd use it. The skill writes a SKILL.md with a name and a description precise enough that your AI tool knows when to load it, turns fill-in-the-blank brackets into an inputs section, converts the prompt into steps, and adds an output template and checks. If your tool can create files, it also packages the folder as a ZIP for upload.

Instructions only: one SKILL.md, no scripts, no network access. Open it and read it; it's about a page.
Install
Claude: upload prompt-to-skill.zip in Customize > Skills. Claude Code: unzip into ~/.claude/skills/. Codex: unzip into ~/.agents/skills/.
